Play

Photograph by Court Kessler

Ritual, Prayer, Ceremony, these are all creative endeavors. How will we get there? We’ll practice in the field of “sacred play.”

Play…the work of Imagination, the mother-tongue of the soul
Pray…the lost and found path of the yearning, curious, and wondrous self
Believe…the felt sense of, as far as Imagination can go
Ritual…the wombifestation of prayer and play
Ceremony…where all of time is now

Sanctuary Shabbat

I am greatly honored to join you, your clergy team and your community in the garden of eden that is Shabbat. I work closely with your vision to create an enlivening, immersive, intimate, and collective experience.

Lifecycle in Ceremony

The magical thing about a ritual is that at the end of it, we are all in a place that we have never been before. My job is to protect the integrity of your journey. We carefully craft a ceremony that takes you and yours to where you want/need to be.

Children’s Spirituality

It is a lifelong delight of mine to bring families with little ones into Shabbat where there are so many ways to be. Musical and imaginative, early childhood Shabbat is heart and soul-filled sacred play and prayer. More here at ShirLaLa.com.
